Our Books
All of our books were written to make a meaningful impact on others who are learning medical billing. Our passion is to help them navigate the complexities of the field with guidance. Spending over 30 years in this field has given us the experience and knowledge needed to succeed. We’ve had so many ask us for help, guidance and advice over the years that it inspired us to write books on the most asked about topics. We share actual experiences we’ve had and knowledge we’ve gained to help others traveling the same path. Books are updated regularly to reflect changes in the industry.
Frequently Asked Questions
Our courses were written and are updated regularly by a mother/daughter team who started their own medical billing business in 1994 and have not only grown it to multiple locations with many employees but have helped many others do the same.
Our course is different in a variety of ways, the first being that it was developed and written by the owners of a medical billing service who work daily in their office and are fully aware of all the necessary information required to succeed in this field. Additionally, our FREE support is bar none, meaning our students will have access to a very experienced instructor with several years of experience in medical billing. We also teach the students “practice management’ which is vital to understanding the revenue stream of healthcare providers. Our course will be updated to accommodate a very demanding industry with constant changes.
All students will get to work at their own pace, so completion time frames will vary according to each student. An aggressive, committed, and quick learner can complete the course in as little as four weeks (we have seen quicker than four weeks), while the average time frame for a person learning part time will be closer to three months.
Yes, we do offer a monthly payment plan through PayPal called Bill Me Later. No interest is charged if paid in full within 6 months. PayPal Credit terms apply.
We offer individualized support from the owners and authors by phone or email.
While it is necessary to understand coding, it is definitely not necessary to take a comprehensive coding course. Our course in coding offers exactly what a medical biller needs to know without learning complicated coding issues necessary for a person who wants to become a certified medical coder. Our coding course covers ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, modifiers, place of service codes, E&M coding as well as bundling and unbundling.
Some facilities do offer remote billing opportunities. If you are looking for medical billing as business to start, you can definitely work from home
